Name: David Fung
Title: Director, Sales & Marketing, at UniPrint

RCP: What's the elevator pitch for your company to a Microsoft partner?
Fung: For those partners who are in the virtualization, cloud computing, managed print services, we are their ideal partner. 1) We provide them with a patented printer vendor-independent solution which gives them differentiation in the market space. 2) We offer free technical support, training and assistance to help them sell our solutions. 3) Most important of all, our selected partners enjoy high profit margins and industry leading co-op marketing programs to assure their success with UniPrint.

For partners who may not have thought about your company since the last WPC, what would they need to know about what you've been up to for the past 12 months?
We just introduced UniPrint Infinity, the industry's first printing virtualization software that allows any client devices to print securely from any computing platform, anywhere.

Out of your entire product portfolio, what's the product or service that Microsoft partners should be aware of right now?
Our UniPrint Infinity software.

Are you announcing anything at WPC?
We will be announcing a significant user win at WPC.

What should Microsoft partners keep an eye out for from your company over the next year?
Continuing enhancements to printing virtualization, BYOD printing, cloud printing and, of course, managed print services.

Why should someone visit your booth this year (free stuff, amazing demo, contest, promotion, etc.)?
Like everyone else, we have lots of free giveaways, including a chance to win a Microsoft tablet. However, I think the one thing partners are looking for is what/how they can differentiate and make money. If so, they should come to our booth.

As a company, what are your goals for WPC this year?
We only have one goal. We need partners in countries where we currently have few or no partners.

What's the profile of the ideal partner you're hoping to connect with at WPC this year?
Partners who are in the virtualization, cloud computing, and or managed print services.

Who are some of your team members a partner might meet at your booth (names and titles)?
Our territory managers, Helen Renna and Marisol Lopez, and our sales engineers, Chris Hathway and Paul Chu.

For partners' post-show follow-up, who should they contact and how (phone number or e-mail address)?
They should visit our Web site, www.uniprint.net, where our worldwide toll free numbers are listed. Or, they can e-mail us at [email protected].
