Microsoft will be releasing 12 patches for Windows and Office this coming
Tuesday as part of its monthly 'Patch Tuesday' cycle.
According to an advance notice released yesterday, 10 of the patches
will related to Windows and two will be for Office. At least one in each
group will be rated 'critical' -- the company's highest rating for vulnerabilities.
As per its usual practice, the company did not release any further details
about the flaws or patches -- more information should be available when
the patches are released next week.
Microsoft said that on Tuesday it will also release an updated version of
the Microsoft Windows Malicious Software removal tool.
