BindView Ships bv-Admin 8.0

BindView Corp. is shipping version 8.0 of its bv-Admin directory and access management suite aimed at addressing the growing list of IT security compliance requirements.
Among the additions are capabilities to automate approval-based administration, providing enhanced multi-level approvals to key business stakeholders. The new version also includes an Identity Verification Service, which integrates with Password Self Service to validate user identities and protects access to critical systems, according to the Houston, Texas-based company.
In addition, version 8.0 includes new capabilities for handling enterprise-wide updates to non-Active Directory systems, including out-of-the-box support for SQL Server and Novell NDS eDirectory.
BindView’s bv-Admin for Windows v8.0 is available immediately.
