Looking to expand the reach of its storage software
solution, OTG Software recently announced the general availability of
DiskXtender for Unix and DiskXtender for Linux. Previously, DiskXTender was a
Windows NT/2000-specific product.
DiskXtender for Unix provides automated storage management
and access to secondary storage media such as tape, optical, and DVD-RAM for
cost-effective storage and also provides high throughput data movement of
hundreds of megabytes per second. It supports Sun Solaris, HP-UX, SGI, IRIX and
Compaq Tru 64 Unix.
