Microsoft to Reorganize Support Offerings

On the heels of a major corporate restructuring designed to better meet the needs of its customers, Microsoft Corp. is expected to announce on Monday a reorganization of its support offerings to be better aligned with customer segments, and the needs of each of those segments.
The new support offerings are aligned by customers including enterprises, developers, IT professionals, resellers, consultants, computer manufacturers, small businesses and home users.
In addition, Microsoft will enhance its enterprise offerings to include dedicated Microsoft technical resources and availability commitments. – Thomas Sullivan
