Trilogy Offers Business-to-Business Web Product

Triology Software Inc. (Austin, Texas,
www.trilogy.com) announced Buying Chain, a product designed for buy-side business-to-business e-commerce. Available for download now at the Buying Chain Web site for a 30-day trial period (
www.buyingchain.com), the product enables companies with a way to buy from a list of over 100 online suppliers, including Office Depot (Delray Beach, Fla.,
www.officedepot.com) and Beyond.com (Sunnyvale, Calif.,
www.beyond.com).
Buying Chain allows employees to buy through a Web browser on their desktops, while the company maintains approval routings and business rules.
Microsoft Corp. and Hewlitt-Packard Co. joins Trilogy for the project. Microsoft will provide joint marketing support for Trilogy’s Buying Chain. HP also joins in hopes to bolster their computer-selling market. – Brian Ploskina, Assistant Editor
