Partners are finding the application-certification process for Windows Server 2008 much improved over the 2003 version and are reaping technical and marketing benefits from going through the test.
In this special report, Redmond Channel Partner magazine's Editor in Chief Scott Bekker talks to several ISVs who have gone through the certification process.
Nearly all reported that the certification testing process improved the quality of their applications before they hit the market. And they are also finding the Microsoft certification logo a help in the sales and support phases of the product lifecycle.
The report also explores Microsoft's improvements to the application certification process since the Windows Server 2003 launch. While Microsoft has shown big increases over the pace at which ISVs are certifying applications from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008, the company is aiming to get many, many more applications certified on the platform during Windows Server 2008's time as Microsoft's flagship server platform.
Read this report to find out if getting your application certified could help your business.
